Who We Are
Engineers Without Borders (EWB) Purdue University Chapter is a student chapter of Engineers Without Borders USA, which is an organization that partners with communities around the world to meet their basic human needs. EWB-USA strives to build a better world and develop leaders through sustainable engineering projects. There are over 200 EWB-USA chapters all across the United States, made up of both students and professionals!
EWB Purdue is also both a student organization and a section of the EPICS program at Purdue University. As a student organization, we welcome students of all years and disciplines, and we offer our members social and professional development opportunities. EPICS is a service-learning design program focused on building partnerships between students and communities to address human and environmental needs. As a section of EPICS, our chapter members receive class-credit for their work on our projects. EPICS also provides our team with technical and logistical support from Purdue faculty and staff members.
